Name the actual audience

Africa is not a single creative brief. Specify the country, audience, language and product availability. A Nigerian campaign and a campaign for another country may need different examples, settings and buying instructions.

Ask a creator familiar with the audience to review the concept. Avoid treating an accent, clothing choice or landmark as a substitute for understanding customer needs.

Verify operational support first

Check current platform availability, identity requirements and payout support for each proposed creator. A public portfolio does not guarantee that every paid workflow is available in that creator’s country.

Confirm currency, payment terms and applicable charges before committing to production. Do not advertise a supported-country list based only on where creators have social accounts.

Resolve product logistics

Agree who supplies the product and whether it is available locally. For cross-border shipping, confirm expected timing and responsibility for applicable charges before setting filming dates. Do not publish private creator addresses.

A software demonstration may avoid physical shipping but still requires access to the correct product version. Provide test access without exposing customer data or asking for a creator’s personal credentials.

Adapt and review each version

Keep the central product facts consistent while adapting examples and language to the audience. Have a fluent reviewer check captions and meaning. Agree whether translation and additional versions are included in the quote.
