Build your creative business
Price your services with a clear scope
By UseHype · Creator guides
A useful quote describes the work as clearly as the price. Start with the time, production requirements and permissions involved, then agree on the scope before accepting the project.

Account for the whole production
Include research, briefing, scripting, preparation, filming, editing and communication when estimating your time. List costs such as props, travel or location hire separately so the brand understands what is included.
Set the number and length of finished assets. Extra hooks, raw footage, captions, alternate edits and additional formats can all change the work required. There is no universal UseHype rate: your quote should reflect the agreed project.
Separate creation from publishing
Delivering a video to a brand does not mean you are also posting it to your own audience. If publishing is part of the job, name the platform, account, format and expected posting date in the scope.
Ask where the brand plans to use the content and for how long. Record agreed permissions for organic posts, paid advertising, edits and exclusivity. Clarify any request to run advertising through your account before accepting it.
Define feedback and scope changes
State how many review rounds are included and when feedback is due. Explain the difference between an edit to the agreed concept and a new concept that requires filming again.
If the brief changes, confirm the additional fee and revised timeline before starting the extra work. Keep those decisions with the project so both sides can refer back to them.

- Production costs and delivery dates
- Included revision rounds
- Posting and usage permissions
- Payment terms and any agreed extra work
Confirm the booking before production
Review the booking terms and payment status in your workspace before work begins. Paid bookings depend on country availability, identity verification and payout support. Check the applicable platform and payment charges when calculating what you expect to receive.
