How to find UGC jobs in Nigeria and respond to briefs
By UseHype · Creator guides
Find UGC opportunities by matching your portfolio to public campaign briefs, checking eligibility and sending a specific proposal. An opportunity listing is not a promise of selection or income.

Search for work you can demonstrate
Start with your strongest format: product demonstrations, spoken explanations, unboxing or lifestyle photography. Review the brief’s location, language, product and delivery requirements before applying.
Use the public opportunities directory to inspect current campaigns. Read the actual status and deadline; an old shared link may lead to a closed opportunity. If nothing fits, improve your samples rather than submitting the same pitch everywhere.
Check the work behind the reward
Identify the number of assets, duration, revision rounds, posting requirement and usage request. If a brief gives one amount for several deliverables, calculate the production time and expenses before deciding whether it works for you.
Ask focused questions about missing details. For physical products, confirm shipping responsibilities and when the product should arrive. Check payment readiness before starting work.

Send one useful creative direction
Open with why your work fits this product and audience. Link one or two relevant examples and explain your role. Then describe a possible opening and demonstration in a few sentences.
For example: “I would open with the packing problem, show the organizer in use and finish with the dimensions on screen.” This is an illustrative pitch, not a guaranteed winning formula. Keep any promised turnaround conditional on receiving the product and approved brief.
Confirm the engagement and keep records
Use the agreed platform workflow to confirm the booking, scope and payment status. Never share passwords or one-time login codes to obtain work. Treat requests to pay an unexplained recruitment fee as a reason to verify the opportunity independently.
After delivery, ask before displaying client work in your portfolio. Keep declined proposals as learning material: record whether the mismatch was format, timing or budget. Repeated applications alone do not establish demand for your service.
